Facilitator Consultation Group with Benjamin

Benjamin's consultation groups meet all the DORA requirements for consultation. These groups are designed for trainees to complete their 40 consultation hours and to support their application for Natural Medicine licensure. Benjamin's approach is to use parts work and somatic techniques to help facilitators navigate all that comes up for them as they deepen their practice. His groups also use conversation to get a wide perspective on topics that emerge. Consultation Requirements: Trainees have 2 years to complete 40 hours of consultation. Meanwhile, trainees may charge for NM services. Benjamin will maintain documentation reflecting consulting hours completed by trainees. Over time, we will include the required 10 hours of ethical discussion focused on ethical issues that arise in the licensees’ work as facilitators, and Benjamin will provide a structured evaluation addressing the following competencies assessed during the consultation period: non-directive approaches, relational boundaries and use of touch, cultural competence, non-ordinary states of consciousness, self-care, and ethics.
