This retreat is designed to support men coming home to themselves. To support men and their desire to connect to the ones they love. The Universal Dilemma: The pattern I’ve noticed over the years is that men tend to struggle to connect with their feelings. Struggle to connect deeply with other men. Once we recognize that we want to get more in touch with ourselves, to have meaningful friendships that will help us express our deepest emotions…we are ready for the adventure. One of my favorite parts of my job is witnessing men connect constructively and safely to their anger, to their grief, to their joy. To all the parts of who they are. Intention: The intention of this retreat is to create a safe container where all of you is welcome. This is a valuable opportunity for you to explore what has happened to you in your life and to find your way home to yourself. The Why: We do the work because we want our partners, our kids to receive the best of us. Because we want to show up fully in our creativity, in our passions, in our careers. Most men I know make tremendous sacrifices to support their families. Your unwavering commitment to provide for the ones you love does not mean you have to give up parts of who you are. But most men have given up parts of themselves along the way because life is really hard. And many men are without a role model to show them how to step fully into themselves, into their power as a man. The Possibilities: It is common for men to learn through psilocybin how their past is hindering their mission in the present. To find a map during their journey to their own healing. It is common for men to connect deeply to other men in the psychedelic experience, to meet friends who will support them on their journey home long after the group experience is over. It is common for men to get connected to their life’s mission, to come out of the journey knowing why they are here. These three things—coming home to yourself, intimacy with other men, and a clear mission in life—have a profoundly positive impact on mental and physical health, and they help men deepen their connection with the ones they love.
