Facilitator Policy

We want all of our facilitators to be compensated well enough to be well — that wellness, in turn, benefits our clients. We believe $150/hour is fair compensation for the work we do.

For any natural medicine (10mg psilocin or more) administered at Sangam Healing Center, the facilitator agrees to charge an individual participant a minimum of $1,900 for 1 preparation session, the administration, and 1 integration session (which will be free).

The way we think about the math for paid members: $1,900 − $251 (monthly membership fee) − $459 (room rental fee) = $1,190. If the preparation and administration sessions are about 8 hours total, the facilitator earns approximately $150/hour. If the facilitator schedules more than 1 journey per month, the compensation scales in their favor.

Facilitators have full discretion to set prices above $1,900, and to charge any fee for additional preparation and integration sessions beyond the required minimum.

For everyone's safety and the integrity of our work together, the facilitator will have a minimum of three hours of preparation for an individual participant, a couple, or a group.

Questions Sangam expects every facilitator to ask themselves during preparation include:

• ›Is psilocybin work appropriate, effective, and safe for the client?
• ›Does the work fall within the scope of your licensure?
• ›Are you safe for the client?
• ›Are you the right facilitator for the client?
• ›Are you able to stay connected to yourself in the work with the client?
• ›In IFS terms, do you have parts blending with the client?
• ›Are you able to regulate yourself in your work with the client?
• ›How much of the client's work are you taking with you outside the session?

Paying attention to these safety cues will help you determine whether psilocybin work is appropriate, whether you need to refer the client out, and whether you need support — through consultation, a second facilitator, a group referral, or your own personal work.

An example of pricing that meets the price restriction:

In this example, the base price (1 preparation, administration, 1 integration) is set at the minimum of $1,900, plus $300 for two additional preparation sessions to meet the 3-session minimum. Facilitators are welcome to set prices higher than the $1,900 minimum.

Sangam offers a regularly scheduled, low-cost group session as often as demand allows, beginning at once per month. Groups range between 3–8 participants with a 1:4 facilitator/participant ratio. The group schedule is visible on the public-facing website so clients always have the option to register.

Groups include:

• ›One 90-minute integration session
• ›Option for additional preparation and integration sessions
• ›Option for Ayurvedic packages

If your client registers for a group session with more than four participants, you will have the option to be put on a short list of facilitators to staff the group administration. We want you there too, as long as the numbers work out.
